Tickets are now on sale for our 2023 Kentucky Derby Party with Hat-i-tude fundraiser! Get decked out in your Derby Day finest and join us for the "most exciting two minutes in sports." On Saturday, May 6, 2023 the Rowan County Literacy Council will host our annual Kentucky Derby with "Hat-i-tude" fundraiser at New Sarum Brewing. The event will center around a viewing of the Kentucky Derby, and include a Best/Most Creative Hat contest, as well as other exciting race-day activities.
Tickets to the Kentucky Derby with "Hat-i-tude" are $30 each and include a selection of hors d'oeuvres and desserts, plus 2 beverage vouchers. Guests may enter a Win-Place-Show drawing with great prizes. There will also be prizes for most stylish hat and most creative hat, so don't be afraid to "go big."
